The Beginning of YadoWeb
The story of YadoWeb began in the year 2000, with the creation of websites for traditional Japanese
inns,
known as ryokan. At that time, very few ryokan had websites in English. However, anticipating the
increase
in international travelers to Japan, we developed English-language websites alongside the Japanese
versions.
One of the first ryokan we supported quickly gained attention and became a highly popular destination,
consistently ranking within the top three on major travel review sites.
In 2010, we officially registered as a travel agency and began providing reservation services. Even
today,
when instant online booking is the norm, we believe that the unique nature of ryokan requires a
different
approach. Unlike hotels, ryokan offer personalized, detailed hospitality. For that reason, we continue
to
handle reservations carefully via email, ensuring every detail is confirmed for a smooth and
comfortable
stay. This attentive service is one of YadoWeb’s greatest strengths.
Visitors come to Japan for many reasons. For some, it may be a once-in-a-lifetime journey. We are
dedicated to making that experience truly special, offering support so that every guest can enjoy an
unforgettable stay in Japan.
ACCOMMODATION
The is the Accommodation List for travelers to stay at Ryokan.
ryokan (旅館) is a type of traditional Japanese inn
that originated in the Edo period (1603–1868).
They typically feature tatami-matted rooms,
communal baths, and other public areas where
visitors may wear yukata and talk with the owner.
