Mifuku opened in 1935 as teahouse where maiko and geiko lived in Ponto-cho. The owner converted into a ryokan in 1950. Two rooms at Mifuku has a view of Kamo River and Higashiyama Mountains and guest can enjoy the view of each season from the window.
